Funny things sawyer says/does

* the other night when i put him to bed he told me to sit in the rocking chair while he fell asleep. so i was sitting there and he started singing (which is the sweetest thing) he was singing twinkle twinkle little start he got to diamonds in the sky and stopped and said "mama you still in your chair" i said yes and he finished the song and was asleep by the time the song finished

* he has been saying "one more time" lately about everything. if we watch a show, play a game, sing a song anythign is is like "one more time mama... Please promise"
* last night he was sitting on my lap and he started to rub my leg and said "wow mama your legs have sparkalies" ya shaving isn't that easy right now

* when we put him to bed he always says" good night sleep tight sweet dreams love you"

* he has to have his back rubbed all the time

* he counts to 12 and then will say some random number after he gets to 12

* he comes to the doctor with me and he loves to tell people he is going to hear his brother. My last visit my doctor who is awesome let him hold the machine to find the babies heart beat. When he found it he got sooo exited and said " i did it... you hear it mama"

* he is finally starting to understand famlies and know what kids belong to what parents

* he has been asking a lot of questions lately."mama what's that" (even if he knows what it is) "mama what are you doing" "mama where is dad" "mama whats your name" mama what's my name" "mama how old are you" I must ask him some of these questions a lot.

* he has been coming up to braydon and I lately with his hands in fists and saying "what hand" he tries to make you pick a certain hand and that is what we do and there is nothing in it so we pick the next hand... and there is nothing in it. he will get the game soon.

* we play tag a lot and when he gets tired or i am to crazy he will stop and stand and say " i'm sorry mama i am so sorry"

* everyday he tells me to tickle his arm pits

Spring Break

Braydon was able to have some time off school for spring break. This was a pretty big deal for Sawyer and I... well braydon too. The three weeks leading up to spring break were probably the hardest weeks of our dental school experience. He had test after test and we NEVER saw him. I was grumpy for these three weeks i'm sure. I felt really crummy, sawyer only wanted his dad and was acting like a crazy child. We were so grateful that we made it through this awful time ( i know there will be more days/weeks like this) We had a great time over spring break. W played pretty hard. Thank you to my amazing kind selfless mother who got us a hotel in cincinnati for a night. We had a blast at the aquarium, hotel, swimming pool and the childrens museum. We packed in a lot of fun for that over night stay and it was so worth it. the rest of the week we just stayed at home and played and just enjoyed having Braydon around. Sawyer took full advantage telling him what to do and where they were going to go... it was usually the park. We had several bbqs with friends and sand volleyball nights. I can't wait to play again:) It was not that fun to have Braydon go back to school, but i think it was harder for him. He works so so so so hard then they have a break and to get back at the grind is hard. 5 am wake up call and un real bedtimes. he is amazing!

We went to the lorax. We thought it was so cute.... i didn't know it was 3-d I hate 3-d or else we would have picked something else to do, but we were the only one in the theatre and he loved it. He danced around and sat in all sorts of seats and on the stairs. We had a great time and were sooo happy daddy could be with us.

The aquaruim... we spent a VERY long time here. He thought it was soo cool. He got to pet a baby alligator and some black sharks, and hold a crab and star fish. He thought it was scary at first but then kept saying "so cool mama" he is still talking about it. We got to watch them feed the big sharks and turles. it was expensive, but worth it because he had a great time and learned lots of new things.

on the river walk... it was such a nice day and he really liked the hotel. My darling mother got us two beds which was so awesome because I slept alone!! and sawyer and daddy shared a bed.

The childrens museum was so much fun. he was going crazy. he was running all over because he just couldn't decide what to do first. He loved the area with the balls. It had all sorts of machines that moved the balls and basketball hoops. We spent a lot of time with the balls

WE had to go in the vet clinic... we told him he could be just like his bampa! we tried to put a lab coat on him and he freaked... when we told him that is what bampa wears at work he said "NO my bampa no wear that"

Playing in the water, working at the construction site, and going through the caves with mommy... it wasn't the wisest choice being so pregnant

they had air coming out of these tubes and he though it was so funny to put his face in the air.... he loves having his hair blow dryed so i am not surprised.

Hotel time. We just took our time in the morning. We seriously had the best time!

We went swimming with Tyler, Lauren, and Shep (the boy she nanny's) the boys love to be together and it was so fun having our husbands there. The boys had a blast and so did the adults :)

So glad that daddy could swim with us.

Oh loving on daddy! When we got home he sat on the couch and fell asleep in five minutes. He was so worn out for having so much fun. We had a great time with great friends.

The other night he made me give him 12 blankets. I guess it's better then all the toys he usually has to sleep with.

We went and picked braydon up early from school and went and had lunch. He was in heaven. he is so sweet with his dad. They really are best friends.

You can't see it but he has his iron man mask on and he is saying "down set hike" and then he would run as fast as he could.

Our friends lauren and ty had a party to announce they were having a baby ( soooo happy for them) and sawyer and kenz were just playing with eachother and having a blast

this was 4 this morning. he had a 103 fever again. We took him to the doctor today and it was so traumatizing for both of us. they did a nose, throat swab and bloodwork. He is ok now and is on medication for the awesome allergies he has (not related to the fever)

My sleepy sick boy- those red cheeks happen a lot but when he is sick it's really bad

He was so sick and told me he was tired and i put him to bed. this is how i found him. No pants and when he woke up he said "spidermans make me better" he loves these jammies. Mom you are a life saver:)

Being sick he knows he can have whatever he wants... ok lets be real he can even when he isn't sick. He wanted his chair out off the porch and to watch megamind

He loves to read books, but lately won't let me read them to him he wants to "read" them to me. he just wanted to read before he got ready for bed. Thanks mom for the awesome elmo book!
