Help!!!

So I need all the advice I can get from all the mommies out there... what is the most needed and wanted items, any advice for me as i'm approaching the due date sooner and sooner... I just want to get all the advice I can. I know i'm a little weird. Oh and side note I am loving the Christmas music and the girls at work are going crazy because I sing it all day. They won't let me play it so during my lunch hour I sing to it on my i pod. I am so excited for christmas not just because i love it so much, but because my baby will be here right after. I wish he could be here for all the holiday fun, but it didn't work out that way.

I know this is something you won't use right away(obviously), but the Bumbo chair is, in my opinion, WONDERFUL!! I was able to put Kamryn in it when she could hold her head up at about 2 months...and she loved it! And best part is your hands are free and you can actually get something done! This can be be a rare thing in the first few months. Kamryn loved that she could sit up and watch me. Love them!

k i have to agree with the bumbo comment!! its the only way i get dishes done or eat! they love watching you walk around and stuff!! but another amazing thing for me is a swing!! he naps in it forever, or if he was fussy at night i'd set him in it! I love the swing!!! and one more, a car seat cover, he'll nap in his car seat all the time because it will be dark for him! ok and i just remembered one more, my baby was very very fussy at night and wanted to just be bouncing constantly, so i went to Ross and bought a giant excercise ball for you abs and it saved my back! It was a miracle worker it stopped him from crying everytime. I think it really helped with belly aches and pains.

Disclaimer: I am in no way qualified to give advice and could probably use some but here goes...with both my kids they slept a ton when we first brought them home from the hospital and I used that time to try to get stuff done, like cleaning or organizing, etc - DON'T. There will be plenty of time for that and the baby will not care if the clothes in his closet are organized by color and size. Sleep and Relax - your body really needs it. Obviously some stuff has to be done but use the time to take care of yourself so you are a happy healthy mama. Also, all the advice in the world will never beat your own instincts. You are going to be the best momma - I am so excited for you.

It is hard for me to remember what the best things were for my babies. I do know that a bouncy chair or swing or both are crucial. I also loved my baby tub. And the most important thing to know is that newborns are HARD, but it goes very quickly. So cherish every moment.

One lifesaver for me was gas drops! Kenley had a really upset tummy and these would soothe her enough to get in a good nap!

Chris and I both had a sling for Braxon. He loved it cause it was so tight in there. Seriously whenever he would cry we would put him in the sling and he would stop. It was also good for doing things and holding him at the same time. I agree.. loved the Bumbo and swing and also if you are breastfeeding, a Boppy. Also, if you're breastfeeding I would get a pump. I know a lot of people who can't leave their babies for more than a couple hours cause they have to get home to feed. You probably won't want to be away for long at first but maybe after a few months! lol. I'm so excited for you!
