This is braydon bear. Braydon gave this bear to  me before his mission and he recored a message on it. Sawyer  slept with him every night for the 4 weeks we were without him. He would play the message over and over again. it was so sad and so sweet!

it was very important for me to be able to be there when ben came off the plane. So we came home early and sacrificed   4 weeks away from braydon to be able to be there! Sawyer was 8 months old when ben left so we knew he wouldn't remember him so we had been showing him videos and pictures the whole two years so that it would help him know uncle ben. So when we told him uncle ben was coming home he was so excited. We told him to run to him but we knew he would get shy and probably not want anything to do with him at first. So when we saw uncle ben walking towards us off shoots sawyer running through the crowed right to uncle ben! jumped up on him and gave him the biggest hug. Of course i was bawling my eyes out!! It felt so good to finally get my hands on him and hug him. WE all missed him so much. He really is amazing and it's hard having so many members of the family already separated that it was so amazing when he was finally back home! It was super late when his flight got in so we went home hung out a little bit and went to bed... everyone just followed ben around for days. Even sawyer followed him when he would try to go shower! He is the most handsome thing ever and we are so glad he is back!

Sawyers cute preschool teacher sent us pictures of him while we were out of town to tell us she missed him. She is the best and he loves her!

There was a parade on mainstreet with santa at the end. So we decided to hang out at my sisters salon until it started. well we kept looking out the window and now parade... finally i decided to walk outside and just check it out. well it was going on, but only on part of mainstreet so i ran back in we grabbed all our blankets and started running in the rain. Ben was carrying sawyer as fast as he could running in the middle of the street just so sawyer could see santa. And  that is the only part of the parade we saw was santa. Which is all that mattered. Santa waved to sawyer and said merry christmas. Sawyer thought that was the greatest thing ever! Then we went to have hot cocoa after! such a funny night

sunshine bought sawyer elf on the shelf...  this year he finally is getting the whole holiday/christmas thing and it's been so fun. He was so excited about his elf... he named him cotton candy and we call him cotton. He kept telling everyone. DO NOT TOUCH COTTON! you will take his magic. and everyone morning when cotton would move he would get the most magical excited look on his face. I love holidays with kids and how innocent they are. They really make everything better, more exciting and definitely more magical
