My friend Jodie asked me if she could take pictures of the boys in their super hero stuff for her portfolio. She just started her own photography business. They turned out amazing! The boys looked adorable even though they were terrible subjects! 

Benson had to get his shots!! poor buddy.... sawyer was very protective of him and got in between the nurse and benson and said "you hurt my brother" you will not get to him you will not pass I will protect him"

since mrs. bateman sawyer's  preschool teacher is from brazil we thought it would be fun to dress up in the Brazilian soccer jersey 

Benson gets really sad when we drop sawyer off at school, but this is how happy he gets when we pick him up

Kentucky has some pretty intense rain storms.... we took advantage of this one! The boys loved running through the puddles

He loves to bring us our shoes so we will put them on and take him outside

This happens everyday... he won't nap and then he falls asleep at 4 or 5

Braydon's school had a family event and there was a dance off and sawyer won the trophy!!! he is such a good dancer and has some pretty sweet moves

They had a photo booth... it was a lot of fun

One of braydon's professors gave him free tickets to the kentucky state fair. We had really wanted to go, but tickets were so much money so we decided to skip it this year. So we were so excited and so grateful he gave us the tickets. The boys wrote him a sweet thank you card!

We went down to beckley station on a little walk and ended up in the river so we decided to just run through the splash pad since we were already soaked. 

We had an awesome labor day weekend. We went to family palooza which is a huge free family carnival. then we went to the zoo, then we went swimming and then we crashed!!! We love doing free things and we love being together. 

Sawyer won an award at preschool for being obedient  and using his quiet voice... good job buddy we are so proud of you

Sawyer's teacher does a blog post everyday and takes pictures! I love it. we get to  know what they  are doing everyday! Sawyer loves preschool

He loves dance time, story time and singing time!

we got to go to the balloon glow. we got to be with a lot of fun friends! it was really neat. They tethered the balloons and lit them up.

we went to the firework show in middletown, but benson hated every second of it so we ended up watching it from the car.

The boys looked so darling today I couldn't help but take their picture! And can you believe we were actually early to church and got a soft seat!!! that hasn't happened since before we had kids. Oh and 1 o'clock church is the worst!
