BEST SURPRISE EVER!!

We have been begging our sunshine to come to kentucky for a while now... our online attempts seems to be working since she started talking to us about coming the end of march. Well, last week i was so sick. throwing up, barely could lift my head... i think i had food poisoning. Well i begged braydon to get home as soon as possible that day. He got home and there was a knock at the door... he just stood back keep in mind our house looked like a tornado had blown through it and then spit it all back out. I was to sick to clean... so i was so mad that he was letting sawyer just answer the door. i kept saying don't let anyone come in this mess of a house and he just kept standing there. Next thing i know sawyer is yelling and screaming... "SUNSHINE IS IN KENTUCKY" i was like what the heck. I got up and benson and sawyer were jumping up and down laughing and yelling sunshine. The boys were freaking out to say the least. I was mortified that my mom came into this mess of a house, but of course i cried like a baby. She had this trip planned for a month before i started my online campaign to get her to come. Everyone knew... all her friends, our family and braydon. they are sneaky sneaky. My kids would not leave her side. Benson is VERY attached to me, but when sunshine was here he would not leave her alone. When i would ask him if he wanted to go to bed he would say " NO SUNSHINE" I would ask do you want me to hold you and he would say "NO SUNSHINE" my kids are pretty much obsessed and in love with my mom. and how could you blame them. We got to pick out sawyers soccer stuff. which i have to say is the most adorable sight. he looks so cute in his soccer gear. We practiced and she taught him about dribbling and throwing it in. We went to costco, the park, the zoo... the zoo was perfect. it was so nice and hardly anyone was there. we even got to see the polar bear swimming. it was so fun to watch the boys watch the bear. The merry go round was a hight light and the boys loved it benson was so intense while riding then he freaked and screamed when we had to get off, Benson learned to pray while she was here, and lately sawyer has been leaving me towers which are a special present he makes me and he leaves it on my night stand at night to protect me and let me know he loves me while he sleeps.  and we just sat with our sunshine and talked and laughed a lot! She read stories and gave them lots of attention. They love that. Every time benson would wake up he would yell for her and she would get him out of his bed. He really loved that. the last morning she was here she surprised the boys with a visit to build a bear. Sawyer was so pumped... benson cried that whole time which is not like him at all and we could not figure out why he was so upset. We took her to the air port and not he way we all said we wouldn't cry. Well as soon as she got out to get her bags she was sobbing... then we kissed our sunshine goodbye benson crying and yelling her name. as we kept yelling I LOVE YOU SUNSHINE out the window. Benson cried for her the whole way home and Sawyer cried when he told benson it would be ok and that he knows why he is so sad and that he is sad she is gone too. that was heart breaking but not as bad as when they woke up from their naps asking for sunshine. And benson standing at the door saying sunshine sunshine sunshine over and over again. We are so glad she came. It meant the world to us and we love her more then tongue can tell. She is the greatest sunshine and mom in the whole world!!!

How sweet is that?! They are such darling boys and no wonder your awesome mother was plotting on you all this time. And a tender mercy to come when you needed help most! She is truly a sunshine and I am glad you got a well needed visit. What a blessing to see your mother love those boys and those boys show such love back.
