We love going to all about kids. Sawyer always has so much fun but this time he was a lot more brave. i think lily really helps him get brave. Benson of course was so good.

They were laughing at each other and I walked over and sawyer looks up at me and says "you can't be with us mom we're best friends" so he made me walk away. I am so glad they love each other.

Sawyer loves to sit in bensons bouncer seat. he thinks its such a fun place to lay down and watch tv

Sawyer got on all his bike gear at about 3pm because he wanted to have his dad take him to ride his bike... his dad usually gets home at 6 for dinner for about a half our and by the time 6 rolled around sawyer didn't want to ride anymore.

Poor sawyer... we were leaving the gym and they had these ground lights and he touched it. of course it didn't have a protective covering on it and he got 2nd degree burns. It broke my heart

I know they look bad but this is them healing. Poor guy!
lately I have been feeling like i have been failing as a mother. Sawyer has had so many accidents lately... but at what point do they stop being accident and start being my responsibility. It seriously has been breaking my heart.

Our dear friends katie adam, and baby emma ( in katies tummy) came to visit us! We had the best time and felt jipped when they had to leave on monday. It was so fun to have company! We miss you guys and want you to come back!! Sawyer loved bossing adam around at calypso and loved katie. He still asks for them.

I know what you are thinking... why are you talking pictures while your baby is bawling his eyes out. Well, this was going on for two hours ( he rarely cries) so this was s big deal and i took them to send to braydon to get him to come home because someone must have been really wrong for him to cry and cry like this

That is sweat around his neck he was so upset and squeezing my hand just trying to stop crying and the poor kid couldn't it broke my heart.

He was so sick

both of them got sick!

we took benson into the children hospital because he was having trouble breathing. they put him on oxygen and sucked out his nose and took chest x rays to make sure he didn't have pneumonia. He just had bronchitis, but we had to be careful because it could turn into pneumonia

preschool really?

I can't believe  my little boy is in preschool already. He started last wednesday and he was so excited about it. We went and bought a new back pack and despite all my best efforts  he picks a bumblebee transformer backpack. he loves it though so i guess that is all that matters. We originally had other plans to do a preschool with some people in my ward, but that didn't work out and so we got him into a local preschool here called st thomas preschool. the local preschools here are all church schools. it's ok they really like the mormon families. Some people have had their oppinions about sawyer going to preschool... isn't it to early, why would you spend that money, is he going to be able to handle it. Well the speak your mind person in me would like to say good thing it's not your kid and it's none of your business... but i won't. I don't think its to early. i think it's rather important. he is learning so many lessons. Playing with others, sharing, listening, learning songs, reading books, doing crafts, learning shapes, colors, letters,and numbers. it's never to early to learn! why would we spend the money well... we are getting some help and even if we weren't we would spend the money because we want to invest in our son and his future. Is he going to be able to handle it?  He totally is. it's going to be the best thing for him and for me! we both need this. Sometimes he is to smart of his own good and it will be so good for him to have to listen to someone else and to learn new things. So we went school clothes shopping picked out his first day of school outfit and made his sawyer superhero person. We had to decorate this person with things sawyer likes. So we put his picture on the head and made him a superhero. it is hanging in his classroom. So the morning of we of course did the typical first day of school pictures. he wasn't really into. I got him and benson in the car and we were off. We sang songs the whole way there and as we were waiting in the drop of line I felt myself get emotional... i knew i had to hold it together until he got out. his teacher got him out of the car i rolled down the window say goodbye and snap a picture and he turned and waved and said " you can't come with me mom" oh i just died a little inside... it's like he doesn't  need me anymore. My mom and braydon say i'm crazy because he is only two 1/2 so of course he needs me, but he just acted to big and so grown up. it just broke my heart that he wasn't crying out for me, but at the same time what would have been so hard. I kept saying i love you so much buddy have a great day and he just waved and walked away. I rolled up my window and drove off. I cried the whole way home. Even though it will be so awesome for both of us i was still so sad! He of course had the best time! he sobbed and sobbed when they put him in the car. He didn't want to come home. he was so exhausted by the time we got home that he just crashed! We are so excited for him to go to preschool and learn so many new things!

Sweet baby Benson

* he is getting so chubby!
* he is starting to sleep like his brother! heaven help us
* he is still so happy and smiley just like his brother... thank heavens
* he loves his jumper he could be in there for hours and sometimes he is ( bad mom?) and he falls asleep. he cries if i take him out when he wants to be in there
* he rarely takes a binky
* he is starting to not smile at everyone
* he still loves his mama the most... that will change here soon and his dad will be the best
* he makes the most hilarious faces when we face time my family
* he loves to chew on his fingers not his thumb and i'm trying to break him of the habit
* he hates his car seat just like sawyer did
* he is so sweaty
* he loves the bath... both boys could stay in there forever
* his hair is getting longer and thicker everyday
* I think it will be curly too... when it's wet it has a wave. I hope it goes curly
* he puts up with his brother loving him to much
* he smiles the most at sawyer
* he laughs all the time and is so ticklish
* he hates his feet tickled though he gets so mad
* he loves to make a pouty  face
* he still loves to be held all the time
* he loves to stick out his tongue at everyone
* He loves to gag himself with his fingers... bulimic
* he got his first bruise... it was an accident sawyer dropped the broom while cleaning and it hit benson on the head. He cried pretty hard and so did his brother. His brother felt so bad.
* he melts our hearts everyday and is sure loved by everyone especially us and his big brother

* he has been saying "i'm so hilarious"
* He has been telling me certain people are his "favorite"
* benson is still his best friend and he only misses him while at preschool
* He thinks he can fly
* He always tells me i can't talk to braydon because he is his dad and his friend
* If he asks for someone and that someone could be anyone... and i don't knwo where they are they are either in the bathroom or sleeping.
* we live in "tucky" and sunshine and bamp live at sunshine house in utah!
* he loves to swing on his tummy he things that is the best way to swing
* superheroes are still his favorite thing ever!
* he still wakes up asking for benson and will lie and tell me that benson is crying and run wake him up if he is still sleeping
* he always kisses and hugs benson... sometimes a little to much love
* he is a big flirt. if he sees a girl he will say "hey sweetie what's going on here"
* He is doing better in nursery and not being a superhero the whole time
* He thinks it's the most funny thing to drink water outside and then spit it out... he says "im a dragon"
* "he told me he had the best day at preschool (his first day) but he really missed me... then he said actually i just missed benson.... awesome!!
* he still asks for his dad 50 plus times a day.
* every time we have to go somewhere he tries to tell me that he will drive us
* we still look for optimus prime, bumblebee and bruster(the train) everytime we drive.
* he loves going to play with the kids at the gym
* he is a manipulator that is for sure... if he is in trouble he will either pretend he is hurt or he will say oh mom you are so beauitful i love you so much.
* he loves to say "that is so awesome" "wahoo" "lame" "nasty" "that is so gross" "i'm so funny" "im sexy and i know it"
* he calls benson "bensonater" and himself "sawyernater"
* lately in the car he will list off everyone in our family and my family and say "yay for benson, yay for daddy, yay for mommy yay for sunshine yay for bamp yay for paul yay for benny yay for manny yay for loodle yay for john dahl... and yay for sawyer.... and yell YAY FOR EVERYONE"
* He always tells me "we need to talk" or "lets make a plan" or mom i've got a surprise for you" pretending to hide something behind his back.
* he always kisses me everyday and say i love you
* he always has to have his "blue silky" which is actually pink when he goes to bed.
* today he told me " i will protect you forever mom"
* He gets the most excited face everytime he sees his toys
* he talks to his toys and if we have been gone like at the gym, church, the park, or school he will run inside and say i'm home i missed you guys and i love you! he's my sensitive boy
* when i get him dressed I always pretend to eat his hands and feet and tonight he said "im not real dinner mom" you can't eat me or i'll be gone in your tummy and that would be just to sad"
