Christmas 2015

Christmas eve was spent with friends at airstrike and then leaving the lights on for santa to come bring us our presents because we were so good this year. I love the quote from elder bender "may the beautiful lights of every holiday season remind us of him who is the source of all light"

this was our very first christmas away from home. it was very strange and kind of hard. Our christmas morning was really nice. it went by really fast. our sunshine got up so early so she could face time the boys and watch them open their presents.  once that was over they played with their toys while their dad took down christmas it was all over very quickly. we didn't have any family to visit or cousin to play with it. it was really nice to be together and not have school or work, but we definitely missed being with our family. And not to mention it was 82 degrees on christmas day... so so hot. we went to the park and we were so sweaty by the time we went home. the boys were spoiled and went to be feeling very loved and happy.
